ST. John Youth Group
Upcoming Events for St. John Youth
St. John Youth Group is a wonderful group of youth! Come and check us out on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. I promise you will have a wonderful time and add tons of friends to the ones you already have! Contact Robbie for more info and see what St. John has in store for the Fall.
This past weekend we had 45 youth and 20 adults participating in our
Youth Mission Immersion VI!
We gathered for worship & fellowship followed by a full day volunteering on Saturday. We had groups volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, Pioneer Home, Clare House, FISH, Mobile Food Bank, Beans Café and Habitat Restore. It was a transforming day as youth connected with others and served selflessly. They lived out their faith in all new ways. Please take some time to ask them about their experiences! It was a wonderful day of being the hands and heart of Jesus.
Youth and Volunteering
- Each Wednesday: Wednesday Night Supper Set Up/Prep ongoing
- Feb. 3: Parents Night Out
- Beans Cafe was founded in 1979 as a place for hungry and homeless to come and eat and rest. Beans Cafe continues to serve meals to hundreds of people every day and also offers many other services to those in need. Sign up with Robbie now to serve breakfast at Beans Café on Saturday February 25th. There were only 5 openings that day, so please sign up quickly if you want to help. 8:20-10:00am
Looking for a way to give back? Need volunteer hours for Boy Scouts or honor society? Sign up to help with these! Donations from both of these activities will go to support youth missions. Our St. John youth do local and international mission work. Did you know that the services that St. John youth provide like Parents Night Out and Northern Lights coupon book may go to help feed those in need in Anchorage, to support Habitat for Humanity, to assist the community of Ocean View South Africa, to provide personal items for homeless teens in Anchorage and many more opportunities. Please consider helping.
Contact Robbie at email@example.com if you can help with any of these!

Opportunities to Serve
Youth have opportunities to serve as a barista at our coffee bar, Beans From Above, on Sunday mornings. Youth run the computer and sound system at all our worship services, regularly read scripture and share music in worship. Opportunities are also available for youth to do childcare at the church.
