All God’s Children… Big or Small
We strive to be a welcoming and loving place that values all children. We intend to help plant, water, and nurture seeds of faith in children who grow to be Disciples of Christ, guiding those around them to the unity and light of the Lord.
We are so glad your family is joining us for church and fellowship!
We encourage and welcome children of all ages in all worship services, but we do have a few different options should you pick an alternative. We have infant and toddler childcare available all Sunday morning. At the 9:15 service, preschool/children's worship is offered for 3 year olds - entering 1st graders after the children's message in the worship service. At the 11:30 service, children are invited to stay with their families in worship, and we have a PRAY-ground with quiet activities available for children of all ages in the sanctuary.
We have started our summer PRAYground at the 11:30 a.m. service! PRAYgrounds are worship spaces in the sanctuary, for children to worship together with their families. Contact Ms. Erynne for more details at email@example.com!

Infants and Toddlers
Sunday Mornings: All children are welcome in our worship services. If you have an infant or toddler that you wish to drop off before worship begins, you may go directly to the nursery (room 10) or the toddler room (room 9) located in our preschool hallway. Greeters will show you where these rooms are located. Please sign your child in. Children are invited to participate in fun, age-focused play. Our nursery and toddler care givers are fully trained and have received background checks according to our Safe Church policy. There is infant and toddler care available at all of our services and during Worship + time.
Wednesday Nights: During the school year while Wednesday Night Supper and Programming is happening, childcare for infants and toddlers is provided from 6:30 - 8:00 so that parents may participate in activities.
We also strive to provide childcare whenever possible for other events at the church.
Children ages 3 through 6th grade meet their teachers in the classrooms at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Children need to be checked into and out of their Sunday School groups by a parent or guardian. Our Sunday School classes are divided by ages and grades. The teachers guide children through Bible stories, prayer, activities and crafts. This is a safe environment with caring adults who love to teach and have fun. Teachers are fully trained and have received background checks according to our Safe Church policy. Children will be picked up from their individual classrooms at 11:15 a.m.
Preschool & Children's Worship
All children of all ages are always welcome and encouraged to worship with their families at St. John. Children are invited in front of the altar table during the service for a Children's Message, and immediately following preschool and children's worship options are available for children aged 3 years/potty trained through 3rd grade. Children are engaged in worship music, tithes & offerings, and Bible stories through interactive story telling, lessons and games.
Biblemania! is designed for K -6th graders on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Join us and get active, messy and inspired by the Bible and its many stories! Meets during the school year in room 13/15 and is dismissed from the triangle room.

MINI METHODISTS (5TH / 6TH GRADE)
Mini Methodists are 5th & 6th graders who meet twice a month on Sunday afternoons for lunch, fellowship, games and service projects. This is a great group with a long history of parent involvement, and an annual winter retreat at Birchwood Camp. Friends from school are always invited! This is a great introduction to future youth ministry experiences. Come and join the Mini Methodists and take a moment to get to know new friends that will become family here at St. John. For more info, please contact Erynne DeVore or the church office at 344-3025.

SAFE CHURCH POLICY
We believe that children of all ages are best able to grow in faith and healthy relationships only when they feel safe, and it is with that in mind that we abide by our Safe Church Policy for all children and youth activities. It is a policy we follow in making congregations safe places where children, youth and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. All leaders are background checked, there are windows in every room and door and children/youth/leaders are always in groups of three or more. If you have questions or would like to see a copy of our full Safe Church Policy, please contact Erynne DeVore at firstname.lastname@example.org.
