The sharing of our time, our talents, our gifts, and our service is important to our growth as Christian disciples. it is critical that we make God’s call to be financially generous to others an integral part of our faith journey. Regularly giving or tithing is a practice of discipleship that builds trust in God and an integral part of our faith journey. It slowly creates the realization that your resources come from God, that you have been gifted, and that you are called to pass along the gift to others. Giving through St John changes people's lives right here in Anchorage, and around the world.

Annual pledges help establish regular, meaningful giving habits. Other gifts can be made throughout the year.  You will receive regular statements of your giving, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”[aAnd God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
